The Kantian theory is based on a deontological point of view, where sound effects make the deed right; bad effects make the deed wrong. It is a theory in the eighteenth century by a German philosopher named Immanuel Kant. He solely believed that reasons alone lead us to the right and good as well as the wrong and bad. Kant's understanding of goodwill and duty serves as the basis for his theory. According to him, the will is in our control to tell us what ought to be done and good will aims to fulfill our duty. I, myself is a big fan of Kantian theory. I am a firm believer that no wonder it is an influential theory for it matches the principle most people lived for. If you do something good, then it comes back with a positive outcome, but if you do something bad then you will have a negative outcome. We should evaluate our actions and decisions before doing anything. We need to weigh the outcome and how it will affect others not just ourselves. We are in control of our own thinking and we must ought to do good at all times.
Having the Kantian theory as the basis of our life is an excellent way to start living as a good citizen of our country. When we focus on all the good deeds instead of the bad, our world will be at peace. There will be no crimes, and there will be no war. There will be unity among us all. Can you imagine how the world can possibly be if only we all learn how to do all the good deeds? It will surely bring us a much better world with unity, prosperity, and peace. On the other hand, harmful effects make the deed wrong, and I could not argue with that statement....
