"The Soul of Love"
Many times people believe spirituality only involves the spirits and your beliefs in higher powers. However, spirituality can include all aspects of an individual's life. Spirituality is defined as that which relates to or affects the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. It is a person's connection to self, others, and the community at large. Spirituality provides a sense of purpose and meaning to one's life. It touches that part of you that is not dependent on material things or physical comforts. Although many people may not recognize it, spirituality is whatever makes you feel peaceful, joyful, and content. It motivates you to life your life.
Your spiritual health can deeply affect you connection with your significant other. One most first love them self and then they will be able to love others. It is important to have a healthy spirit in order to have a positive relationship. "Healthy relationships involve a balance between closeness and separateness and are characterized by mutual support, respect, good communication, and caring actions. Having strong personal relationships improves self-esteem and gives meaning to life" (Health book). Often many people are not able to express their love for another. There love is seen as "limited". Once you reach a healthy spiritual state, you will be able to love yourself unconditionally. Love without conditions is the rarest type of love found because many people do not have this quality. Often relationships have the "I love you because u do this" mentality. This creates very narrow minded expressions of love.
Love can even be explained from a biblical perspective. When God created the world, he intentionally created Eve as a soul mate for Adam. In the bible, God explains that love should be unconditional. He says choose the mate that he sends you, rather than letting lust and emotions take over. Single people are often praying for God to send them a mate. They claim to find someone, and they are not who God had for them. They let the feeling of loneliness and the devil lead them astray. This is not how one finds their soul mate; this is satisfying the flesh and meeting your own needs. In 1 Corinthians 13, the bible gives us the definition of real love:
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Man's emotions are not a reliable way to find true love. The bible never once mentions "falling in love." Love is much greater than falling for someone. This is the devils way of building relationships. The Lord tells us to love because of one's character than emotion. Love is a precious thing that one must be willing to commit to. The Lord will you give you signs as to the right individual for you. Loving an individual without following God's direction can be very disastrous and result in a dreadful, non-lasting relationship.
The soul is the immaterial essence, animating principle, or actuating cause of an individual's life. It's simple a person's total self. Love work is two manners. You have to love yourself first and then you will be able to love others. Because your spiritual health affects so many aspects of your personal traits, it is necessary for you to create this sense of "personal value" within yourself. Love can be the deciding factor between the question of your overall reasons for existence and a life full of greater meaning. Therefore when you love someone unconditionally with your soul, you can achieve true spiritual health.
