My Carbohydrate, Protein, and Fat values for the two-day food diary are as follow: Carbs 288g/348g, 60g below the rec. intake; Pro 94g/139g, 45g below the rec. intake; Fat 91g/93g, 2g below the rec. intake. For the second day: Carbs 296g/348g, 52g below the rec. intake; Pro 66g/139g 73g below the rec. intake; Fat 36g/93g, 57g below the rec. intake. I would decrease the amount of McDonalds food that I consume on a daily or every other day basis. This in particular, could cause health issues by itself. My regular order, two mcchickens, contains almost 800 calories. Among these calories are a couple notable nutritional values; containing 1600 mg of sodium and 80g of carbohydrates. These are the most surprising numbers and they largely contribute to my daily recommended intake values just by themselves. If I continued ordering this food my whole life, I would surely see an increase in risk in a number of diseases and conditions, including Cardiovascular Disease, Osteoarthritis, and Gallbladder Disease. It almost goes without saying that it would also increase my likelihood of obesity as I approach an older age. The servings of onion rings and a chicken Philly cheese could also be of concern if that were to be consumed on a regular basis, however, that was an occasion and does not happen often. The fat and carbohydrate levels could affect me similarly in the long run to the mcchickens. Based off of the numbers I managed for carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, if I could add more of another specific type of food to my diet, it would most likely be that of a sandwich. The meat would help increase my protein goals and the bread would help me do the same with my carbohydrate goals. The vegetables inside would also benefit me as I would be getting more greens and overall, more nutrients into the diet. Overall, my choices were not too detrimental to my diet as I did not ever exceed my target goal on each of the days in any of these three categories. I would, however, like to consume more fats that are a little healthier for me, opposed to the ones that were likely in the mcchickens, Philly chicken cheese steak, and onion rings.
Based off of my caloric intake for this two-day period, I would lose 4 pounds within the next five weeks, while the goal was to maintain my current weight. This is obviously a result of me consistently not meeting my caloric goal. Personally, I would like to consume much more than I am now, also given that I exercise daily. My Fitness Pal does not take into account the fact that I exercise, so I am going to estimate that I need at the least a surplus of at least a few hundred calories added to what I should be getting every single day. Since I work out frequently, the projected path of weight loss for me would also certainly be expedited. My BMI, calculated, is 21.6. This is a normal BMI which me...
